Sycamore Canyon golf course quickly became known as one of the better golf course in the greater Bakersfield. Eleven lakes, which come

into play on 12 holes, combined with large, undulating greens and many strategic bunkers make Sycamore Canyon not only scenic but a

challenging round of golf for many different levels of play. In 1993, Sycamore Canyon served as the first round of PGA tour qualifying course

at which PGA tour player Jim Furyk reportedly first qualified.The property is bordered on all siles by agricultural land. Since there is no

residential element to this golf course, it makes for a very pleasurable golfing experience.
